"We are committed
to providing the highest quality of services to our customers in
compliance with requirements. We will achieve this through
monitoring and continuously improving our performance based on
Business Services Division objectives and customer needs."
The Dougherty
Process Management System certification procedure for Business Services
was started in January 2002. This system is based on international standards
of quality (ISO 9001). Throughout the world, businesses and schools certified
as meeting the high standards of quality specified by ISO 9001 have improved
their products and services, reduced error and costs, and experienced
increased customer confidence. This certification is such a valued system
that many corporations will not do business with organizations that are
not ISO 9001 certified.
The management
of the process system as it relates to the requirements of ISO 9001 include,
the structure of the system, control of documents, corrective and preventive
action, control of non-conformances, continuous improvement, decision-making
and auditing the process management system. These elements provide a means
for assuring our customers that we are using a quality system that provides
the same high quality service to EVERY CUSTOMER, EVERY TIME.
Listed within
each department's sites are the approved procedures that have been created
as a part of the DPM program. Anyone can view these procedures to see
how work is done in Dougherty County Business Services Departments.
