Parent Guidelines and Directions
Through the i-Parent online access
service, the Dougherty County School System provides enhanced
home-school communication and affords parents timely information
concerning their child's schedule, attendance, discipline,
assignments and grades. i-Parent is available 24 hours a day, 7
days a week and may be accessed anywhere with an Internet
connection. Parents may also opt to receive emails regarding
student absences.
In order to gain access to i-Parent,
users need to complete a Parent Acceptable Use Policy and
Authorization Form and take the completed form, along with a
government-issued photo ID, to the school their oldest child
attends. A current utility bill may be required to verify
residency if the data in the student information system is
incorrect or outdated. Parents will then receive an access key
that may be used to access the i-Parent application.
Parents need only one account per
household regardless of the number of children enrolled in the
school system. Please contact Alphonese Wilson or Tracy Lane at
483-6337 if you have any questions. |
