Grady Rachel

ATLANTA - Grady Rachel, a teacher with the Dougherty County School System’s Career, Technical and Agricultural Education Department, has been selected to participate in an exclusive statewide leadership development program.

"I feel greatly honored to be selected to represent Dougherty County in the 23-24 LEAD CTAE Cohort. This is a great opportunity to be amongst a very prestigious group of upcoming leaders across the state who all share a common goal of leading advocacy development for CTAE," Rachel said.

CTAE LEADS is a leadership development program developed by the Georgia Association of Career and Technical Educators, the CTAE Resource Network and the CTAE Division of the Georgia Department of Education.

There are five program sessions that cover topics ranging from teambuilding and general leadership skills to legislative advocacy, economic development and instructional development. The program culminates with a graduation ceremony during a summer conference.

Rachel joins an elite group representing 20 schools in 17 school systems and 12 program areas from across the state, and was selected from almost 100 applicants.
