PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES - EARLY DISMISSAL: Please be reminded that Parent/Teacher Conferences and Early Dismissal is set for Feb. 1&2 this week. Pre-K and Elementary Schools will dismiss students at 12:30 p.m., Middle Schools at 1:30 p.m. and High Schools at 2:30 p.m. Please contact your school for details.

REMINDER: All schools and offices will be closed Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr., Holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.
All DCSS schools and offices have normal operations today. There is no planned early dismissal and all after school activities will continue as scheduled. Official updates will be made via Remind and our District App.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany will be closed today due to the weather. There will be no after school transportation provided for students. Parents will need to make arrangements to pick up students.
The district is closely monitoring an approaching storm system that has the potential to cause severe weather across the area tomorrow (Friday - 1/12/24). We will provide updates through our district mobile app and Remind as they become available.
After careful deliberation and consultation with state and local officials, the district has made the decision to cancel school for Tuesday, January 9, 2024 ahead of a potentially dangerous storm system that is set to move through our area. School operations will resume as normal on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. We encourage you to download the DCSS mobile app and Remind to get updates as they are communicated from the district office.
