Student presents project to judges at fair

Students from various grade bands present their projects to judges who evaluate various components to assess the student’s knowledge of their topic. This year, the winners will represent the DCSS at the Region Social Studies Fair on March 18 in Thomasville, Georgia. The top 16 winners in the region will move on to the state competition held in late April, early May.

 

Class I (Grade 5-6)

1st Place- Alexia Home, Isaiah Barnhart, Sherwood Elementary

2nd Place- Ramesh Ly-Richards, Merry Acres Middle

3rd Place- Kourain Moses, Isaac Horry, Live Oak Elementary

Honorable Mention- Raquan Fed, Jacob Kemp, Live Oak Elementary

 

Class II (Grades 7-8)

1st Place- Triumph Olabisi-Ojo, Robert Cross

2nd Place- Za’Niyah Jackson, Robert Cross
