The Cognia Parent Survey is designed to collect data on student academic learning and wellness during the current school year. Participation in each survey is anonymous and voluntary, and participation is highly encouraged. The survey results will provide the Cognia Accrediting Agency, the Dougherty County School System, and local schools with data regarding parent feedback to support continuous learning.
Please be assured that your responses are anonymous. The survey will remain open through September 20, 2024.

The district is aware of a threat circulating around the state on social media. It appears that the schools mentioned were extracted from a list of Title 1 schools listed on the GaDOE website.
Although we believe this to be a hoax, out of an abundance of caution, we are placing all schools on a soft lockdown posture until the posts are investigated thoroughly.
The safety and security of our students, employees and guests is our number one priority.
Parent conferences will take place September 5-6, 2024. Please see the attached flyer for more detailed information. Scheduling links will be sent via Rooms by your scholar's homeroom teacher.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES - EARLY DISMISSAL: Please be reminded that Parent/Teacher Conferences and Early Dismissal is set for Feb. 1&2 this week. Pre-K and Elementary Schools will dismiss students at 12:30 p.m., Middle Schools at 1:30 p.m. and High Schools at 2:30 p.m. Please contact your school for details.
